What a bouquet of affordable flowers costs
The formula is simple: price per stem × quantity + packaging. Without packaging it is just the cost of the stems; the price of the ribbon, paper or box is shown when you choose. The per-stem price does not depend on quantity, and the minimum for each variety is in the table and on its page. A courier brings orders from 800 UAH; below that, pickup at the warehouse is free. Price questions
What does the price per stem depend on?
On the flower, the variety and the stem length; if a variety is on sale, the list already shows the sale price. It does not depend on quantity: it is the same for a smaller and a larger batch. Quantity only sets the total and the minimum each variety has.
What is the difference between 40 and 70 cm?
Length is the distance from the cut to the bud. Longer stems suit a tall vase and looser, fuller bouquets; shorter ones suit compact bouquets and low vases. Length affects the price differently: in some varieties longer stems cost more, in others the price is almost the same, so on a variety’s page every length has its own price. Right now stems in stock run from 40 to 80 cm.
Is there a minimum number of stems?
The minimum quantity is set for each variety separately: it is shown in the “Minimum” column and on the variety’s page. If a variety has fewer stems left than its minimum, the remainder is sold whole.
Are these wholesale prices?
The per-stem price is the one shown next to each variety on the site; it is the same for retail and wholesale. How it compares with the Kyiv market, with the date it was checked, is on the “Prices per stem” page.
